The food is tasty and the portions are generous. This is my go-to Thai restaurant for take out, but the vibrant atmosphere makes it a great spot for dining in as well.

Amazing lunch special. Loads of chicken on my drunken noodles and just the right amount of heat. Staff are professional and very friendly. Definitely my favorite tea in Victoria

An amazing little neighborhood joint. Very friendly servers. Love their efficiency and of course the food is worth coming back to. The Khao soi was a special this week. I hope they bring it back or even better find a permanent spot on the menu.

A quick stop for a quick dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the offerings and atmosphere and quick service and delicious food! We had the happy hour lettuce wrap with Chicken Larb followed by a big bowl of the Thai Coconut and Prawn and mushroom soup! Both were delicious and just what we needed to satiate our hunger. Servers were polite and informative and the food came quick and was nice and hot. I’d recommend this to anyone including gluten free guests as my friend ate the above and felt fine as they said it did not contain gluten. All yummy! 😋

So busy and so slow but good food! Usual Gen Z wait staff don't know how to speak to people and usually just congregate with each other and their phones.

Best deal for happy hours! Good service each and every time. This is so weird because I could've sworn I had posted reviews for this place before but Google Maps have the tendency to lose some of my old reviews.Definitely not the first time eating at this location and definitely won't be the last. 😁

Everything has become so expensiveβ€”dinners for two, just a vegetable plate and noodles with no drinks, end up costing about $35 per person including tax and tip.

The food is excellent. The prices are not communicated well enough. Ordered a Phad thai and didn’t realize if you order meat it’s a separate cost. So what I thought was a $17 plate came out to $26. Portions are solid though.

This branch of Baan Thai is one of their best with regards to the interiors and service. We've been here several times, their food and service are on point. Phad Thai and satay are always our go to food here. Their Happy Hour is also a must-try. Their Trio Mimosa is good according to my sister who thought the servings will be less but 3 glasses of 4oz Mimosa in different flavors were enough for sharing. Their non alcohol lavender drink is also good.

I’ve loved Baan Thai for years β€” every single dish is amazing. The staff are always so welcoming and kind, which makes dining in such an enjoyable experience. And if you’d rather stay in, their takeout is super convenient and still tastes just as delicious.

My son loved the sticky rice and mango. They had a great kids menu as well. He particularly enjoyed the kids coconut pineapple drink and the fresh, vibrant flowers on the table.

We arrived at 11:30 and were seated promptly. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the drunken noodles and my wife had the chicken red curry. Both dishes were delicious and good value. Her only disappointment was the soup which slacked a lot of flavor. Overall, the staff was attentive and we enjoyed our meal.

Amazing ambience, service and food every time we go. So nice for it to be so close by as well. Spent a recent birthday there and the chef let me in on some secrets of how to do a proper Phad See Ew, which was so appreciated, as they have the best version in town by far! Thanks again and we will be back again soon!

Tasty food, great service and atmosphere. Only disappointment was paying the extra $9 for sirloin meat on the yummy Thai Garden veggies and only received maybe 7 tiny pieces of tasty meat. It made me feel a little ripped off. Coconut soup and chicken satay were amazing!

Our host was very patient , fun and friendly. They are able to accommodate our party that came on Friday Jan 16th of about 8-9 people. S55 was a flavourful clear beef broth with rice noodles and brisket - refreshing! Bathroom is clean. No issues with service or food and everyone got their order/ drinks around the same time.

As a Thai person, I always went to this restaurant when i was in Victoria. The head of the chef is Thai and the food is soooo good. Here's a review for each food I tried before- thai tea is sometimes sweet and sometimes too plain but I still think overall it's a good one- tomyum noodle comes with a very big bowl and tastes sour more than spicy- tomyum fried rice is soooo good! tastes like a local one for phet mal level- phad thai is good- larb tastes like local- the banana and gelato is a MUST!!!
